A month following the May 12 #wannacry Ransomware making end point and information security mainstream news, Information Security, IT, and Help Desk Professionals came together in an incredible and informational Executive Leadership Panel.
Information Security Subject Matter Expert, Rinki Sethi, moderated an informative panel in an informative and energetic discussion on leading Information Security, IT Partnership, Career Pathing from the Help Desk to Information Security.

2 Silicon Valley best practices groups -- HDI and itSMF held our first ever CISO Executive Panel with great community interest!! The informative event was attended by 44 Silicon Valley Businesses and 70 attendees, who networked and participated in executive panel discussion.
San Francisco Bay Area Chapter HDI President, Terri Oropeza kicked off the event with an introduction of HDI. Discussing some great highlights on HDI Events upcoming including:
Members at the event used a "Catch Box" which was a fun LinkedIn Branded Soft Microphone Box like tossing a pillow, to participate or ask questions.
Some folks were hesitant to toss and talk, but a few were bold in their participation in the discussion and use of the technology. Go ahead, catch, and speak to the "in" Box.
Rob Matheson, a Client Executive from PCM was bold and was one of the first to use the box..
There were great questions from our participants, other great leadership discussions were raised by Kawser Jamal, City of Santa Clara IT Consultant and IT Representative.
