SF Bay itSMF named in Fusion 17 Center of Excellence Award National Finalists


October 31-November 3, 2017:  Orlando, FL. The San Francisco Local Interest Group (LIG) was selected as a national finalist for the itSMF USA LIG/COI Excellence Awards, with the winner to be announced at the  FUSION 17 Conference

On the milestone of our 1 year post launch anniversary, Silicon Valley celebrates a fantastic relaunch of the San Francisco Bay Area IT Service Management Forum (itSMF), Local Interest Group (LIG).   What a great year it has been!!  Last December we prioritized 2017 with a 1,2, 3 Innovate Workshop that set the pace and interest topics. 

We hosted webinars, Friday Chats, White Paper Authoring Events, and our most popular “Panel Forum” into leading topics on Innovation and Service Management Leadership. 


Our premier event was the June 7 Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Summit which was a partnership of 2 Silicon Valley IT Best Practices organizations HDI and itSMF. Featuring California’s best CISOs from Cybersecurity (Palo Alto Networks and GuruCul), Government (State of California), Staffing (Robert Half), and Healthcare (Contra Costa Healthcare).

WEDNESDAY JUNE 7, 2017: Lunchtime Executive Panel of 5 Leading CISOs held at LinkedIn

A month following the May 12 #wannacry Ransomware making end point and information security mainstream news, Information Security, IT, and Help Desk Professionals came together in an incredible and informational Executive Leadership Panel. 







Information Security Subject Matter Expert, Rinki Sethi, moderated an informative panel in an informative and energetic discussion on leading Information Security, IT Partnership, Career Pathing from the Help Desk to Information Security.   

2 Silicon Valley best practices groups -- HDI and itSMF held our first ever CISO Executive Panel with great community interest!!  The informative event was attended by 44 Silicon Valley Businesses and 70 attendees, who networked and participated in executive panel discussion.

San Francisco Bay Area Chapter HDI President,  Terri Oropeza kicked off the event with an introduction of HDI.  Discussing some great highlights on HDI Events upcoming including:
